Meet Robert Rome

Robert Rome is an accomplished professional living in Northbrook, Illinois. He has over fifty years of experience as a CPA, is a Financial Immersion Consultant, and is the owner of Healthy Vending LLC. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a B.S. in Accounting. Yet this barely scratches the surface of all there is to know about Robert.

About Robert Rome

As the owner of Healthy Vending LLC, Robert is responsible for all aspects of the operation. This includes all critical elements in addition to a solid understanding of the vending machine industry as a whole. Robert started this new business in January 2021 and has enjoyed all the new challenges this experience has brought.

Before opening his new vending machine business, Robert Rome was a CPA. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Robert is a highly skilled financial professional who plays a crucial role in the world of business and finance. With his extensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations, he provides invaluable services to individuals, organizations, and governments. This knowledge came naturally to him, and he was thrilled to share his expertise with those that needed it the most.

Over the years, Robert has held many interesting and exciting positions. Most recently, he worked as a Financial Immersion Consultant. As a consultant, Robert offered services for small and medium businesses, providing guidance on office management, cash flow, forecasting, taxes, and other financial concerns. Before this, Robert worked at Cole D. Lundquist M.D. as the CFO and Practice Manager. This role called for Robert to handle all staffing, hiring, accounting, financial concerns, and any miscellaneous issues. Other roles Robert Rome has held over the years include Managing Partner (Rome Associates, LLP), CFO (TMC Inc.), and Senior Accountant (KPMG).

Outside of his professional work, Robert is an accomplished pianist and trumpet player. In his spare time, Robert loves to read. He’ll read just about anything but has a particular fondness for biographies and books about current events. He is admittedly also exceptionally fond of science fiction novels.

Robert Rome is highly active within his community. One of his biggest concerns is supporting environmental projects and poverty programs. He believes these organizations are often underfunded and cares deeply about doing his share to keep them going. Part of this support includes teaching younger generations about the importance of these issues. Robert is a natural teacher. He has been a member of several boards, including Providence St. Mel School, Allendale Association, Imperial Stamp & Engraving, and Capitol Bank of Chicago. Attending these board meetings is another way Robert helps give back to his community.
